One of my most popular treatments is TCA Cross which is the chemical reconstruction of skin scars (CROSS) using trichloroacetic acid (TCA). It is a treatment that requires a custom blend of TCA, angled lighting, and precise tools to apply the acid. I use the angled lighting to carefully analyze the width and depth of each scar so that I can precisely “paint” the different concentrations of TCA depending on the unique characteristics of each type of scar.
We are able to combine TCA Cross and Lasers to safely treat all skin types. This means we can treat patients with very light skin, very dark skin and every shade in between. We are able to do this when creating our custom blend of the trichloroacetic acid and adjust it depending on the depth of the scar itself. It is important to note that this treatment should NOT be done at home. It can be dangerous and leave irreversible damage. TCA Cross is to be performer by a physician.
