The ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) is an Asian-Oceanian college robot competition, founded in 2002 by Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union. In the competition robots compete to complete a task within a set period of time. In India, the National level of this competition is organised by IIT Delhi.

Game Theme: The theme of this year's competition is to cast flowers over Angkor Wat by the cooperation of a rabbit robot and an elephant robot. Angkor Wat in Cambodia, a UNESCO world heritage site, captivates with its breathtaking temple complex. In Cambodian fables, the rabbit symbolizes wisdom, while the elephant embodies strength and gentleness. The actual competition is "Ring Toss Game’ using blue and red rings made of rubber hoses instead of flowers.

Team Pegasus: The official Robocon team from the National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, achieved a magnificent milestone in the Robocon 2023 contest. They showcased their exceptional abilities by securing a score of 98/100 in the Design and Simulation submission round, demonstrating their remarkable skills and dedication. This outstanding performance has propelled them to the top among other participating colleges, earning them well-deserved recognition for their exceptional skills and dedication.
Details of the Rabbit Robot:
The task of the Rabbit Robot is to pick up ring(s) and toss them into the pole of Angkor Wat Area without entering the opponent's team area and the Moat Area. RR is prohibited from touching, grabbing, sucking, or sticking to poles, but it can lightly touch them while passing by during travel.

Details of the Elephant Robot:
The task of the Elephant Robot is to pick up ring(s) and toss them into the pole of Angkor Wat Area from the team's area in the Red Area or Blue Area.
It is prohibited to enter the opponent's team area, the Angkor Wat Area, and the Moat Area.
