I have finally fixed my computer in time to play Overwatch's Halloween Terror Event and what do I get? A rehashed version of last years event. This really dissappointed me, and I talk about why in this video.
At least the new Halloween skins are cool.
For those who are not aware Junkenstein's revenge is a PVE game mode that takes place on the bridge of Eichenwalde where a team of 4 players face off against wave of AI controlled robots called zomnics.
After a certain amount of waves a boss appears. There are 5 in total; Roadhog as Junkenstein's moonster, Reaper as...the reaper, Symmetra as the summoner, Mercy as the witch, and Junkrat as Doctor Junkenstein himself. Each boss plays like their character's counter-part and also comes decked out in their Halloween event skin.
Players win if they defend the castle until the end of the last round. Players lose if the castle doors fall to the onslaught on exploding zomnics.

About the game:
Overwatch is a character class shooter where instead of picking different gun loadouts players pick different heroes. The hero roster sports a very diverse cast of characters from various countries around the world. Each hero has their own unique weapons and skillset, and also fill one of 4 roles; Attack, Defense, Tank and Support.
Overwatch does allow for hero swapping though, which means games can change on the fly with a different team composition. Game modes include capture the point, with one team attacking to capture 2 points, and the other defending. Escort, where one team attacks to cap a point, and then escort a payload to the end of the map, while the other team defends to prevent them from doing so. King-of-the-hill, where both teams try to capture and hold a single point until their teams bar reaches 100%. There is also an added Deathmatch mode where player rack up points by getting eliminations on other players to be the first to the top. This mode can be played in teams or in free-for-all.
Overwatch is developed by blizzard, the same company famous fr hit franchises such as Warcraft, Starcraft, and Diablo. Overwatch is currently available at $40 on PC and $60 on PS4 and Xbox One. The game was launched with casual play, while Blizzard added competitive ranked play about a month after launch. Blizzard states that all Overwatch updates will remain free, with the only additional cost to players being micro-transactions to earn additional cosmetic rewards.
