SETAs play a crucial role in the higher education-workplace continuum through various initiatives that include bursaries for students. Naturally there are always resource limitations which mean that not everyone can be assisted. Does the introduction of a loan scheme provide an opportunity for SETAs to expand their reach by offering financial support that will alleviate the burden for students who will be taking up loans?
