Disassembling a computer! That's a great skill to have, especially for repairs, upgrades, or recycling. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to disassemble a computer:

Please note:

Ground yourself to prevent static electricity damage
Take your time, and be gentle when handling components
Keep track of screws and cables

Disassembly steps:

1. Shut down and unplug:
Turn off the computer and unplug the power cord
Disconnect all peripherals (keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.)
2. Remove side panels:
Take out the screws from the back of the case
Gently pull out the side panels
3. Disconnect internal cables:
Carefully disconnect cables from the motherboard, hard drive, and other components
4. Remove expansion cards:
Take out the screws holding the graphics card, sound card, or other expansion cards
Gently pull out the cards from their slots
5. Remove the motherboard:
Disconnect the CPU cooler and other cables from the motherboard
Remove the screws holding the motherboard to the case
Lift the motherboard out of the case
6. Remove the power supply:
Disconnect the power cables from the motherboard and other components
Remove the screws holding the power supply to the case
Lift out the power supply
7. Remove the hard drive and other storage:
Disconnect the SATA and power cables from the hard drive or SSD
Remove the screws holding the hard drive or SSD to the case
Lift out the storage device
8. Remove the CPU and cooler:
Disconnect the CPU fan cable from the motherboard
Remove the screws holding the CPU cooler to the motherboard
Lift out the CPU and cooler
9. Remove the RAM:
Pull out the RAM modules from their slots

You've successfully disassembled your computer!
