Foundation Tubes are driven into the ground at each end of each hoop when building a polytunnel on a soil base.
It is important to take time ensuring that all measurements, spacings and levels are correct - this will set the perfect foundation for your polytunnel.
In this video we show you how to set the four corner tubes - always checking for square - followed by the two rows of foundation tubes. When foundation tubes are in position on a level site, only the swaged section should be protruding from the ground.
This video also shows you how to position Cover Tensioning Tubes (optional extra/addition). Cover Tensioning Tubes are fixed using the same method as standard foundation tubes, but with 8in left protruding from the ground.
