Malema's Economic Freedom Fighters challenge South African establishment
As South Africa prepares for general elections in 2014, the political landscape has got a new political party, the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF).
The party is led by Julius Malema, a former youth leader of the ruling African National Congress. Malema was expelled from the ANC last year for ill-discipline. His radical stance on equal distribution of the land has attracted a lot of interest.
EFF is largely viewed as a youthful party. Some analysts believe the generational dimension might work in favour of the party.
