This white house blueprint which was originally produced by Benjamin Latrobe will be explored and examined in our latest Election Day Special! Today is election day and we're going to set aside our partisan politics and look at a piece of presidential history. This blueprint was originally produced in 1807 largely because Thomas Jefferson wanted to install expansions to the white house which included 2 rowed columned walkways for the east and west wings. The 1st president to live in the white house was John Adam in 1800. 1 year later though Thomas Jefferson would be the 2nd president to live in the domicle.
