In this video, I will walk you through the whole process of creating Google Search Ads, from keyword research to writing your ad copy to publishing your Google search campaign!
What are Google Search Ads?
Imagine your store is selling gardening tools. At any given moment, someone somewhere is going to use Google to search for a specific tool that they need for their gardening hobby. Let's say secateurs. That searcher will start by typing a "search query" in Google, for example, "felco secateurs."
So this searcher is not only looking for a particular gardening tool, but he is also looking for a specific brand (Felco). Now Google will match this search query to both organic search results and paid ads (or the Google search ads).
These ads show above the organic results and have this little "AD" tag in them. Now, if you've bid for the same search query "felco secateurs" in your text ads, written a great ad copy, and optimized your campaigns, then there is a high chance for your search ad to show on top of the results. But this is just the FIRST step of your Google Ads search campaigns journey.
When setting up a search campaign in Google Ads for your Shopify Ecommerce store, your ultimate goal must be to provide a seamless experience for potential Google searchers and customers. In this video, I'm going to show you my best practices in driving targeted and relevant traffic to your ads and drive conversions using Google text ads.
In the keyword research stage, you will see here how I use the Google Keyword Planner and find the best keywords that you can use for your Google Search Ad campaigns. And the best way to do this is to FOCUS on your target keywords, GROUP these keywords into Ad Groups, and CREATE relevant search ads in every ad group.
