The story of WCEF (so far)
The World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF) is a landmark event of the year that brings together business leaders, policymakers and experts to present the world’s best circular economy solutions. Held since 2017, the forum has so far circled around the world, being held in Belgium (2024), Canada (2021), Finland (2017, 2019 and 2023), Japan (2018), the Netherlands (WCEF+Climate in 2021), Rwanda (2022) online (2020, thanks to Covid-19 and Brazil (2026)). Next stop: India in 2026!
WCEF is a global initiative of Finland and Sitra, the Finnish Innovation Fund.
