FINAL SUMMER FLOAT | ETOWAH RIVER FISHING
Not going to lie, the fishing was tough. Water levels were low. It rained on us. 8 hours into the float we realized we were only halfway to take out. I landed 2 fish the 12 hours we were on the water. We tried everything and couldn't come up with a pattern.
Halfway through I decided it was glide bait or nothing, and that's all I threw for the majority of the remainder of the trip. The running joke was if I could catch anything in this shallow water on an 8" glide Nghia was buying me steak dinner.
The run in with the stripers was wild. My battery died, but we did get into more striper later on the float.
