FLOAT AND FISH Etowah River Canton | Summer 2024
I've had a lot of people ask about going with me on this float. I made an open invite on social media and had a lot of interested. All in all 8 other people came to make the float with me. It was a mix of paddlers, anglers, and floaters. We had a good time, but the river was very low.
The low water levels and lack of rain resulted in much longer trip times, taking 9 hours instead of the planned 7-8hr trip. We still made it way before sundown.
