“Water Be Still” was composed by Mark Rapp during the devastating 2015 SC flooding. It's focus is on the strength of the people of South Carolina and to all of those who came in to help. “Water Be Still” has a very brief intro that is dark and intense to represent the flooding, but it quickly turns to a song of hope and standing strong in the face of severe adversity.
The lyrics tell the tale of our shared emotions of dismay, of asking for help, finding your strength from within, through our friends and community, and coming back strong.
