Ashes: Reborn Red Rains Review — Coop Ashes
The Ashes Reborn card game now has a solo/co-op mode! Play against the Chimera with either per-constructed decks or a custom one, with the same rules as the original Rise of the Phoenixborn. Your cardplay, dice rolling and luck mitigating strategies still work against the solitaire opponent in Red Rains, who can also level up as you progress through the campaign! In a single game session it will escalate its behavior as well. Unfortunately, its aspect cards are a little predictable, and there's certain mechanics that are much more effective, which can hamper the replayability. Negates and single target removal aren't going to be as powerful against a fairly predictable opponent, even if they have face down cards that flip over on top of random dice rolls.
