Quick first impressions and overview of the new historical wargaming ruleset ‘Never Mind the Billhooks’. Available free with the Sept 2029 edition of Wargames Illustrated (Wi) and also available to download from the Wi website. A big skirmish and small battle game written specifically with 15th century warfare in mind, here’s my first impressions as a Wars of the Roses ‘enthusiast’.
