Wargamers Let Loose After Lockdown: Partizan Show 2021
A video report of Partizan historical wargaming show, held near Newark, Nottinghamshire, UK, in October 2021. This was the first Partizan since 2019 thanks to restrictions on gatherings brought in during the Coronavirus pandemic.
After so long spent indoors, some wargamers had clearly been busy and there were some incredible games on display showing great scale, detail and ambition.
Includes short interviews with James Morris, who alongside his group of friends won 'best demo game' award, Michael Perry of the world-famous Perry Miniatures, and show co-organiser Laurence Baldwin.
A warm thanks to Laurence and everyone else who gave me their time on the day, or just put up with me sticking a camera in their face to capture what I knew would be a special show after such a long time away.
