How to Enable Windows 11 Updates Over Metered Connections
By default, Windows 11 doesn't download updates over metered connections to avoid expensive data charges.
However, if you have unlimited data on your metered connection and want your Windows 11 to always be up to date,
you can enable updates over metered connections.
To do this on your laptop or computer:
Click on the Windows icon at the bottom left side of the screen.
Click on Settings.
Next, click on Windows Update.
Then, select Advanced options.
Now, turn on the toggle next to Download updates over metered connections.
By doing this, your laptop will download updates as soon as they are available, whether you're on a Wi-Fi network or a metered connection.
Please note that these updates can be large, so make sure you understand the limits of your data package before enabling this feature to avoid unnecessary charges.
