How to make Google Chrome the default browser on Windows 11 laptop or computer
Today, I'm going to show you how to make Google Chrome the default browser on your Windows 11 machine.
To do this on your laptop or computer, click on the Windows icon at the bottom left corner of the screen.
Next, click on Settings
and then select Apps.
Now, click on Default apps.
Under "Set defaults for applications," type "Chrome" in the search bar.
Then, click on Google Chrome.
Click on Set default next to "Make Google Chrome your default browser."
Now, Chrome is set as the default browser for HTM, HTML
It's also the default for HTTP, and HTTPS However, for PDFs and other protocols, I'm still using Edge.
To change them to Chrome too, just click on one of them—let's say PDF—and select Google Chrome.
