That One Time Simba Got My Phone Wet 💧🤦🏻♀️💧
At feeding time, Simba Serengeti Swishbottom, the Red Volitans Lionfish, is quite demanding. If I don't drop in his krill shrimp fast enough - in between slowly adding the other fish's variety of food & hand feeding Ziggy, the lazy Zebra Eel, with tongs - Simba will spit water at me. 💧
This is as he hovers on the surface waiting NOT very patiently - often with his nose/mouth & some fins (including the venomous ones) sticking out of the water - for his next Krill/shrimp that I drop in.
This particular time I had my phone on a lanyard around my neck so I wouldn't miss a phone call while feeding them. The position the phone is in being connected the lanyard exposes the bottom of the
phone where the USB-C charging port is. I didn't know until I plugged my phone to charge it shortly after this, that some of the SALT water that Simba spit at me got in the charging port. I got this error when I plugged it in...
"Warning: Unplug charger immediately. We've detected moisture or foreign material in your charging/USB port" 😳
It was fine the next day, tho! Whew. Nice try, Simba. Nice try... 🤦🏻♀️
