Ducks eating peas with NEW Flockmates
Baphy and Luci's ducklings are all grown up and have been adopted. Two of the babies have stayed with the flock. Meet Odessa and Oliver! They're still little shy when it comes to diving in and competing for peas.
The Indian Runners: Luci has grown white feathers around her eyes, so that's an easy way to tell Baphy and Luci apart.
The Pekins: Molly is a bit bigger than scoot, but it's really hard to tell them apart most of the time. It's difficult for them to keep their feathers clean because they like to turn all the fresh water we give them into mud (and the hot, dry summer has killed the grass, so the whole place is just dirt).
The Ducklings: Oliver is a boy (drake), so he's a bit bigger and his voice is that soothing low drake call. Also, when the sun hits him, you can see that his head is green. Odessa is a girl (hen), so she's smaller and has the loud quack and other vocalizations that female ducks have.
