Bean Path is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Jackson, Mississippi. Founded by Dr. Nashlie Sephus, our organization provides technical advice and guidance to individuals and small businesses in the community. We created the first Makerspace in Jackson, MS. The Makerspace is a collaborative, community workshop space designed to engage, inspire & empower Jackson in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math).
We created the first Makerspace in Jackson, MS. The Makerspace is a collaborative, community workshop space designed to engage, inspire & empower Jackson in S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math). We host local kids from the community and introduce them to STEAM programming in alternative ways. We offer a wide variety of technology driven programming in fields such as architecture, fashion, education and more. The Gigabot would be perfect for our makerspace, as we introduce our kids and community friends to new technologies and possibilities.
