It’s only been three games into La Liga, and while this isn’t a panic video declaring that Real Madrid is collapsing, it’s clear that things haven’t been great. In fact, they’ve been pretty terrible. Sure, we managed to beat Mallorca and a 3-0 win against Valladolid looks good on paper, but the performances were far from convincing. Yesterday’s game was particularly atrocious, especially the first half.

In this video, I’ll dive into the five critical adjustments Real Madrid needs to make to improve their play, create more chances, limit opponent transitions, and score more goals. From fixing our ball progression issues to addressing the lack of balance in the squad, I’ll break down what’s going wrong and what needs to change. The absence of Toni Kroos has left a huge void, and our current reliance on two defensive midfielders to start the build-up play isn’t working. With key players like Rodrygo and Arda Güler struggling due to lack of service, and a noticeable imbalance in our attack, it’s time to reassess our strategy.

We also lack a physical presence in the box, especially with Bellingham now playing a more defensive role. And finally, we need more structure in our attack, as the current disorganization is leading to poor ball movement and a lack of high-quality chances. This is a new era at Real Madrid, and without the likes of Kroos, Modric, or Benzema to manage the tempo, we need a more organized approach. Stick around as I break it all down, and be sure to share your thoughts in the comments. #RealMadrid #LaLiga #TacticalAnalysis #CarloAncelotti #FootballTactics #HalaMadrid #JudeBellingham #Rodrygo #ArdaGuler #FootballAnalysis #Madridista
