A Trip to the Log Yard
Finally I was able to get out to the log yard! This is so much fun! I could probably spend all day there just watching the wood be milled and seeing what treasure is in the gray weathered exteriors of this wonderful wood. It is just sitting there waiting for it's reveal! I bought a walnut log as you will see in the video. Buying wood this way is very economical and it saves the wood from ending up as firewood or in a land fill somewhere. I am very pleased with my purchase and I am sure I will be doing this again very soon! I appreciate Scott Shaffer letting me come out and video the process and be sure to check his website out and his other media presence!
