Saving Winslow Book Trailer
Sharon Creech wrote this poignant story about Louie, a boy who's missing his big brother. He copes with his feelings while becoming attached to a sickly mini donkey. Louie's friend Nora, also in pain from feelings of a different loss and abandonment, risk being hurt again through the hardships they face raising the donkey, Winslow.
Look for little details from the book like Nora's yellow cap and the Winslow Homer picture in Louie's room. We tried to only use dialogue from the book in our script. Our trailer ends with a plea to the tenderhearted. We thought it was an amazing coincidence that we filmed older Winslow at an animal sanctuary called Winslow Farms. So we had to add a plug for them.
