♦ Talia: Still On My String ♦
A tribute to the princess of Xeris.
I used to be a big fan of magical girl shows. But I got tired of them because they were all, fundamentally, the same. They had the same character types with the same looking people every time. I stumbled upon Lolirock and it has consumed my soul. And its because of Talia.
Talia is not only, easily, the most gorgeous magical girl I have ever seen (omg. she's perfect in that dept) but she has more depth than any other character in her genre that I have ever seen. She's determined and strong but she's also kind. She can get carried away with her mission, but has a legitimate REASON for it. Everyone considers her impatient, but I think She shows immense restraint for not knocking both Iris and Auriana's heads everytime they want to derail the mission for some trivial BS. She's graceful and ridiculously smart. I just love everything about her. The only thing I DON'T like is how little they show what she's going through emotionally.
I wanted to make a tribute for her for awhile, but wasn't sure what song to use... "This is twice now," by Lydia popped up on my pandora and I thought of Talia instantly.
Fight the good fight, Talia, babe. But please remember its ok to be happy sometimes, too. I really hope she gets a third season. I would watch an entire series of just Talia. I really would.
