The first time I got on a train in Seoul I literally had a grandma half my size grab me by my waist and push me aside so she could get on before me.
It was the most shocking thing I’d ever encountered because in Chicago you don’t put hands on someone unless you’re trying to throw hands.
Needless to say I was always on the lookout for ajhumma after that. Never let your guard down on the Seoul Metro! 😂
