Chicken Puttanesca is a delightful twist on the classic puttanesca pasta dish, in this case, combining tender chicken with the bold flavours of olives, capers, and anchovies in a rich tomato sauce. Originating in Naples, this Italian classic was created as a quick, flavourful meal using pantry staples.
With my French touch, I find it benefits from a little butter, though you can stick to olive oil if you’re a purist. The anchovies add depth and umami, making the dish irresistibly savoury.
