✅The "lucky bamboo" is a beautiful plant, but its real name is Dracaena braunii. It's a shrub species belonging to the Asparagaceae family. Commonly called "lucky bamboo," it shouldn't be confused with true bamboos, as these are phylogenetically related to grasses; the Dracaena genus, on the other hand, is related to the agave family and even the onion family.
