If you could earn an income using skills that you’ve already developed from your full time job, but without actually having to work in your full time job, would that be of interest to you?
What about if that meant you were in control of your time, you could be anywhere in the world, and you had total choice in your life?
Well, Caroline here is a perfect example of using freelancing to achieve all of those things using skills that she’d already developed within the corporate world.
You will definitely have skills that businesses need too, because it’s those very skills that make you employable. If you didn’t have valuable skills, then employers wouldn’t want to hire you would they?
When you truly get this, you realise that you don’t actually need your employer. It’s your employer who needs you.
Because you can use these skills (Y’know, the ones they’re hiring you for) for yourself instead of your boss. Then, you can use these skills to add value to the world instead of adding value to your bosses’ bottom line.
It’s a much better equation, because you’ll earn a lot more, along with having all the choice, control and freedom.
