The year is 1988. The weather is always sunny and the colors brighter. You slip into the sun-warmed seat of your Ferrari Testarossa and press play on the tape deck. 'Simply irrestible' by Robert Palmer plays and you smile as you put on your ray bans and head to the Mall. In the seat next to you is Kelly LeBrock. It's going to be a good day. You know this is just a dream, the 80's seen through a nostalgic lens but it feels so good you don't even care. Kelly turns to you and urgently presses a VHS tape into you hands. Her mouth is moving but you only hear a beeping.
You open your eyes and press 'snooze' on your alarm clock. You feel something plastic in the bed and pull it out. It's the VHS tape, somehow transported from your dream. On the case it says 'VIBERCISE 88'. You slip it into your VCR and. huge grin appears on your face. The eighties is back, baby. And BETTER.
Welcome to the world of Vibercise '88. This music mix of instrumental and vocal synthwave set over an 80's aerobics video (Kathy Smith's fat burning workout 1988) is perfect for anyone nostalgic about the eighties.

As Dan Haigh from Gunship put it:
'(we) channel the feeling conjured by your memories of a past time which had an emotional significance to you, a time which was partially informed by values and events which were, for the most part, contained in the imagined non-reality of certain filmmaker's movies, partially mixed with you own experience of actual events.'
