Two seriously injured after altercation in Koblenzer Straße
This Tuesday afternoon (May 9, 2023), a violent altercation broke out in the area of Siegen's Oranienpark. At around 2:40 p.m., police received an emergency call reporting that several people were pushing each other in the area of Koblenzer Straße / Oranienpark. When police arrived, they found two injured men in the area of Oranienpark. Both men received first aid from emergency personnel who were also alerted and were then taken to a hospital. Based on their injuries, the use of a stabbing weapon/tool cannot be ruled out. Initial findings indicate that the two men injured each other during the altercation.
The Criminal Investigation Department has taken over the investigation. A homicide squad from the Hagen Police Headquarters will lead the investigation. The background to the altercation and thus the crime are now the subject of the investigation. The identities of the two men involved have not yet been definitively established.
