How to turn ordinary pieces of fabric into a unique and stylish thing?!
I sewed together a 50x70 cm piece of fabric from 11x11 cm squares. I hand-embroidered some of the squares. I made a sandwich of cotton fabric, synthetic padding, and the embroidered blank. I pinned all three layers together, securing the bottom layer with masking tape. I removed the tape and hand-quilted the entire sandwich. I sewed a pillowcase from the resulting blank.
