It's a DELIGHT! VERY FAST AND EASY! Lazy patchwork.
I used 15x15 cm denim squares. I zig-zag-stitched 7.5x7.5 cm calico squares onto them.
I covered the edges of the small squares with tape. I sewed a row of tape in a different color next to them. I sewed the squares together into a panel, enlarging the piece with strips of denim and strips of multicolored canvas. I finished the edges with piping. The result is a very bright rug for a child's room. If you sew smaller squares together, you'll make a bag, and if you sew more squares together, you'll make a blanket top.
