👋 Who's the streamer in the video?
👑 Lyrica / リリカ
Lyrica is an independent VTuber based in Canada who's trilingual in English, Tagalog, and Japanese. She's also a retired member of the 77th generation Mahou Shoujo. That's right, she's a 69 y/o ex-magical girl. You may have seen her hang out with Hololive ID members like Moona and Risu or other PH VTubers like Kaheru. She's super close to her fans and often does a lot of things with them in streams. Lyrica can also be quite funny with her content, and also makes amazing song covers, too.

Special thanks to IchiiKimchi, Klaüs Kurosawa, Riku, Perditio, KillerNoob69, Poi, Seele, and holokuso117 for the translation checking and quality checking!
Also, here's your dose of TL notes, because we kinda need them for this one.
1:31 - Region II may be more familiar to people as Cagayan Valley, known for being in between the Cordilleras and the Sierra Madre mountain ranges. Like other countries, we have regions. 17 of them. But we big-brained it big-time and officially numbered most of the regions. Of course however, that's for national purposes, but everyone just calls it Cagayan Valley.
1:38 - In Philippine English, "rich kid" is a slang term that just means that you're filthy rich, own a lot of things and have a really desirable lifestyle. It's used often as an insult to people who fit this description out of jealousy by people who are pretty normal financial-wise. Doesn't necessarily apply to kids, but I notice that people from high school to college use the term more often. I thought about keeping this in as later on in the clip, Lyrica mentions that a lot of her Hong Kong discussion was during her childhood, and it seems to fit the translation well.
1:43 - Since Lyrica is, after all, a 69 y/o (nice) ex-magical girl, her age is compared to that of an old grandma, which is what "Lola" means in Tagalog. And that's what she calls herself too, same way with terms like "Kaichou" or "Danchou".
I'm looking to translate more Tagalog clips of VTubers, so if you have any, please send them my way!
--Fun Fact--
Lyrica's first video is top-tier. If you're looking for a reason or something to convince you to start watching her, start with this:
• Lyrica’s first video 🌸 「Self Introduction」...
Her hanging out with the HoloID girls is also a treat to watch and one of the ways I discovered Lyrica, so check that out too!
