We take a look at the 4 cup Pyrex Snapware glass lunch container to help you decide if this is the right glass container for you.
To see us pack in it, check out • Review: Pyrex Snapware 4-Cup Glass Container
Before this square Pyrex Snapware container, we used a round Pyrex glass container with a silicone, non-snap lid that we also brought into this video as a comparison.
We bought this Pyrex Snapware 4-cup set because:
We trust the Pyrex brand after our previous experience with the brand's product
We wanted a glass container with a snap-on lid instead of the silicone lid because we thought it would be easier to use (something about the silicone lid makes it a bit difficult at times to make sure it's secured)
Good value and positive reviews. We got this 4-cup container as part of a 2 piece set that came with 1-cup container for less than $10 USD on Amazon
We've used the Pyrex Snapware containers a handful of times and here are our thoughts:
The 4-cup Pyrex containers are common so it's a good idea to label it
It's satisfying to snap the lid on
We thought the 1-cup wouldn't get much use but it's the perfect size for a bowl of oatmeal on the go
We're happy with our purchase and will continue to use these glass containers for food that needs to be microwaved. If you're looking for a lunch container that is lighter and has removable compartments, consider the Komax Biokips that we made a video of here: • First Look: Komax Biokips Lunch Bento Cont...
