Setting Up the Insta-Bed Never Flat Air Bed
We unbox and set up the Instabed Never Flat Air Bed in the Queen size.
It took 2:48 to pump it up to firm. We've slept on this air mattress for over a week now. The Never Flat pump definitely does its job in keeping the bed inflated at the preferred firmness. We found the Firm setting to be a bit too firm and Medium to be just about right. The bed is slightly deformed now on my side (heavier - 185 lbs.) - the side of the mattress is jutting out but it doesn't really affect comfort. Expect to sleep mainly in the middle of the bed. Overall, while we don't like the fact that the bed lost its form within a month of daily use, it's still comfortable - for an air bed.
Update: 9/12/16
After using this as our primary mattress for a month, the air bed developed a huge hump in the middle. It eventually popped and was no longer able to hold the air. Insta-bed was cooperative in replacing the mattress. Lesson: use this sparingly, not even as a short term replacement to a standard mattress.
