Peace Be With You (Christmas Edition)
“Peace Be with You” is a phrase often heard in religious settings, to wish others peace and to receive the same greeting among friends and strangers in a house of God. Lisa Mychols, the singer and co-writer of this song wanted to create an angelic and heavenly feel for the bridge of song. To that end she layered the song with beautiful harmonies throughout but especially on the bridge of the song and included those words of peace and togetherness which go hand and hand with overall lyrics to the song “Ringing Bells on Christmas Day” which are also words of coming together during the holiday season. A bit more about the music of Lisa Mychols: She is a southern California based musician who has recorded nearly a dozen CDs with several musical groups and as a solo artist. Her debut CD, the seasonal Lost Winter’s Dream, was recorded with The Wondermints. The retro feel of Lisa’s debut CD helped The Wondermints develop their sound which led them to being part of the recording and touring band for Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys for the last 20 years.
