LA County Juvenile Ticket Amnesty Webinar
In December 2015, LA County Juvenile Presiding Judge Levanas ordered amnesty for almost all juvenile infractions issued before the closure of the Informal Juvenile Traffic Court (IJTC) in 2012. Labor Community Strategy Center, Youth Justice Coalition, and Public Counsel advocated for this amnesty after supporting hundreds of young people in clearing old tickets.
This webinar is for partners in LA County who are either young people who are attempting to clear their old juvenile tickets or for community partners who work with young people. Join Youth Justice Coalition and Public Counsel as we review the amnesty order, walk through the process to clear tickets, and have a group discussion on any challenges partners are facing in working to clear tickets.
