ProLinePBX VoIP Phone System: SNAPbuilder Line Key Customization
SNAPbuilder is a feature inside the ProLinePBX VoIP phone system portal that allows an end user to customize the line keys on their phone. An Office Manager can customize the keys for a user. The number of customizable line keys varies based on the phone model.
There are six types of features that can be added to a key by an end user.
➡️ View the current status of another user - whether they are on or off the phone 1:56
➡️ Park a call, so a held call can be picked up from any phone 2:23
➡️ Speed dial a person or a weekly conference bridge 2:52
➡️ Send a string of touch tones, such as the access code for a weekly conference bridge 3:17
➡️ Log into and out of a call center queue 4:09
➡️ Change the current answering rule, due to a schedule change 3:44
An Office Manager has the additional option to customize a key to be a Shared Line Appearance. This key lets a user answer someone else's calls for them.
The Yealink T46S has 10 keys and is the phone used as an example in this video.
