Address: Obrechtkerk, Jacob Obrechtstraat 30, Amsterdam
We are celebrating the release of Genetic Choir’s second album, Church Songs for the 21st Century, with an amazing concert in the Obrechtkerk of Amsterdam on 4 December!
Tickets are available at the church entrance. If you purchased your tickets via this website earlier, you can fetch your tickets at the entrance of the church. The church will be open at 19.30 hrs.
Very special guests confirmed so far include Jacob Lekkerkerker on organ and the amazing Bulgarian Voices of the Pauni Trio. Furthermore, we invited Cafuné (Brazilian), Çiğdem Okuyucu,(Turkish), Daphne Chlimintzas (Greek), Marianne Svasek (Dhrupad) Marije Nie (tap), Marieke Franssen and Mark Alban Lotz (flutes). All our guests will engage with the Genetic Choir in vocal instant composition and we will of course work with the special acoustics given by the church space.
