A dead juvenile 7 metre Humpback whale washed up on a beach at Frenchman on the wild west coast of Eyre Peninsula, South Australia on June 1, 2018. Since then it has attracted the interest of a 4 - 5 metre Great White shark.
In this drone footage taken from directly overhead the shark can be seen patrolling back and forth near the whale, waiting for the tide to rise. So far the water around the whale hasn't been deep enough for the shark to get closer for a feed. But the shark is patient...
