Blender Animation - An Object Following a Path (Guide, Motion Path) New Version
Getting an object e.g. a cube to follow a path (motion path, guide path)
Hide object, cube
Add a curve to act as a path for any object to follow
Show the object and with it selected add the 'Follow Path' constraint
Set the Target to be the curve and check 'Follow path'
In earlier versions of Blender (before 2.55) a default animation would be created. With the latest beta version you have to insert key frames.
