BEYOND MY LIMITS Pizzo Porcellizzo

Today I take you with me to one of the jewels of Valtellina, the majestic Val Masino. My destination? The summit of Pizzo Porcellizzo, at 3076 meters! ️
A challenging hike awaits me, with a 2000 meter difference in altitude, but the rewards will be unforgettable. I start from the renowned Bagni di Masino, immediately immersing ourselves in the Alpine atmosphere.
The path, an old mule track that runs along the Masino stream, will lead to the characteristic Casera Zoccone. From here, the climb will become more challenging, taking me to the Rifugio Gianetti after about 4 hours of walking.
The refuge, located at the foot of the giants Pizzo Badile and Pizzo Cengalo, is the perfect place to rest and admire the breathtaking view.
After a short break, we will continue our journey towards the Porcellizzo carving, a spectacular passage between the rocks that will open the way for me to the summit. ️
The last 900 meters will be the most challenging, on an almost non-existent path that will test my abilities. But the emotion of reaching the top of Pizzo Porcellizzo, at 3076 meters, will repay every effort.
