Tick invasion in the Alps of Valfubia and Val Codera

On this hike, I'll take you on a discovery of the Alpi di Valfubia pasture, located at 1,263 meters above sea level in the Codera Valley, Lombardy. The trail starts from Mezzolpiano and, after following a stretch of the mule track to Codera with splendid views of Lake Mezzola, heads towards Alpe Avedè. From here, the real adventure begins: the trail climbs towards the Bocchetta di Valfubia, a wild and rarely traveled path that offers picturesque views of woods and rock faces.
Finally reaching the Bocchetta, the descent leads us to the Alpi di Valfubia pasture, a charming and perfectly preserved place, despite its abandonment. Unfortunately, the day holds a nasty surprise: on the way back, we encounter two young men who warn us of the presence of numerous ticks on the trail.
This video is an invitation to explore the pristine beauty of the Codera Valley, but also a warning to be aware of the dangers you may encounter while hiking, such as the presence of ticks.
