Stick Fighting: Control Drill With An Easy Swing

This is a very basic drill to control the swinging of the stick, and it creates a format that is very useful as a progression in order to build a sense of distance, timing, precision, footwork, and reaction. The first stage is to just "touch" the partner with the stick, without doing any possible damage. I call it "Control Drill". And I usually call such a controlled strike, an "Easy Swing".
