Bluzelle Enters The Metaverse with Denomination
In May we launched Bluzelle 2.0 to usher in our next phase. The core mantra was that Bluzelle will be the storage layer for the Creator Economy. We saw the convergence of content with crypto first through NFTs and then some game mechanics beginning to prove themselves.
Mine and Neeraj’s backgrounds came from gaming as that is where we spent the bulk of our careers before crypto. I worked with EA, Nintendo, Disney Interactive, Xbox and more. Neeraj worked for Zynga, Sierra and Sony.
For Bluzelle to really take off and use our experiences to the fullest we want to have a game that can stand on its own and show off the power of the Bluzelle storage protocol, what we call Bluzelle R2. Given our backgrounds in gaming, tech, crypto and finance, this was the perfect time to have them all converge.
For the past three months we’ve been designing a game concept with a solid production team.
It is now time for us to announce our entrance into the metaverse through the production of our first game — Denomination, a unique real-time card battle game with the following elements:
Online player vs player (PvP)
Community-based story mode (PvE)
Play to Earn Mechanics
Real-time gameplay
Digital asset resources as NFTs
The Game Story
A newly discovered living energy source, the Elementi, threatens to disrupt The Order’s Grip. The Elementi bind with humans, unlocking new powerful abilities, but The Order has outlawed anyone from possessing them and seeks to use the Elementi for their own corrupt power. A group of rebels called The Radicals are fighting back, driven by a vision of the future where every human can bind with their own Elementi. Join the Radicals and discover your power, regain control from The Order and claim your stake on The Ring.
The Game Loop
Denomination has a four-stage game loop:
Battle: PvP, PvE, Tournament, Live Events, Seasons
Collect: Earn game currency, win or lose. PvP wagering, tokens, resources, land.
Progress: Leaderboard quests and daily goals. Community progress. Levels, Ranks.
Earn/Invest: NFTs, Tokens, Card Backs, Card Parks, Land.
