MIDDLE EAST: The US attacked sites in Iraq and Syria with bombs
The US dropped over 125 bombs on Iran's military and allies in Iraq and Syria in response to attacks on American troops. Bombers, some from across the Atlantic, targeted over 85 sites, including those held by the Quds Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This marks the beginning of US retaliation for more than 160 attacks on American forces in the last three months.
