(Another) Choke Chain Dispatch Video for Meat Rabbits
Cervical Dislocation method for meat rabbits.
1. MAKE SURE there's no slack in the chain.
2. The chain is positioned directly under their skull not on or below their dewlaps
3. Grab their rear hocks securely.
4. Yank straight down.
When new to the method always try to pop their heads off on the initial downward jerk. Probably won't happen but at least it ensures a clean dislocation if you're worried.
!!ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE SLACK IN THE CHAIN BEFORE YOU ATTEMPT THE DOWNWARD JERK!! If there is slack in the chain this allows for the possibility of the head slipping out and botching the dispatch. 👎
