The Punisher's Dark Origin: Frank Castle's First Kill
The first time the Punisher, Frank Castle, killed someone. He was only 10 years old. He saw a couple being beaten by a mobster in the middle of the street. No one did anything, no one called the police. The next day, the killer was walking around the neighborhood like nothing had happened.
Frank told his parents, but they told him to forget it. He couldn't sleep, he only heard the screams in his head. So, he decided to act. He got diesel and some things from the trash to make napalm, a recipe he found in a World War II flamethrower book.
One night, he caught the mobster, poured the napalm on him, and set him on fire. The mobster's screams echoed through the neighborhood, but again, no one did anything. Everyone looked the other way. Except for the Punisher.
