The Day Thor Becomes Hulk and Hulk Becomes Thor Marvel
In Thor issue 26 of volume 6:
After being accused of killing a bunch of people in a bar in El Paso, Texas, Hulk becomes a target for Thor. The two fight in space, while Iron Man joins Thor to capture Hulk. But Hulk, furious, unleashes a gamma ray explosion and turns Thor into a "Hulked-out" God of Thunder!
In the middle of the battle, Bruce realizes he needs to regain control before Titan, a new force within him, causes more destruction. He asks for help from Odin, who is dead and whose spirit now inhabits Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. During the battle, Odin entered Hulk's mind and connected with Bruce's memories.
Hulk, now controlled by Bruce Banner, manages to summon Mjolnir, Thor's hammer, and transforms into the God of Thunder himself. Hulk now gains Thor's powers. Then he challenges Thor to take the hammer back. And that's how we end up with this craziness.
